The short version

Your files are processed in your browser and are never sent to us. We do not ask you for an account or personal details. The only data tied to your visit comes from standard web hosting logs and, if you consent, from advertising cookies.

Who we are

“PataPage”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of the website patapage.com. You can reach us at the email address on our contact page.

Your files

All tools run inside your browser. Files you choose are read from your device into your browser's memory, processed there and saved back to your device. We do not receive, store, view or copy your files, their names or their contents, and we do not receive passwords you type into the Protect PDF tool.

Information we handle

• Browser storage: your theme, language and cookie choice are saved in your own browser (localStorage). They never reach us.
• Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time. We use them for security and reliability.
• Advertising data: only if you accept cookies. See below.

Advertising

PataPage is supported by advertising from Google AdSense. If you accept cookies, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads. If you choose “Essential only”, the advertising script is not loaded.

Google's use of data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.

Cookies

We explain every cookie and storage item we use on our cookie page, and you can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

Your rights

Because we hold almost no personal data, there is very little to access or delete. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to processing and to complain to a data protection authority. For data held by Google or other advertising partners, please use their own tools or contact them directly. For anything else, email us.

Children

PataPage is not directed at young children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
