Sign a PDF without uploading it
A contract or a form with your signature on it is as private as a document gets. PataPage adds your signature in your browser, so the file and the signature stay on your device. There is no account, no watermark and no limit.
Three ways to create a signature
Draw it, using a mouse, a trackpad, a pen or your finger. Type it, and pick a handwriting style for your name. Or upload a photo or scan of a signature you have already written on paper. For uploads, the white background is removed so only the ink is placed on the page.
Once you have a signature, click it to add it to the page, then drag it where it belongs and use the corners to resize. Need the date or your printed name next to it? Add date and Text do that. A signature that has to appear on every page can be copied with one click.
How to sign a PDF on your phone
Open this page in your phone's browser, choose the PDF from your files, then tap Create signature and draw with your finger. Tap Use signature, drag it into place and press Save signed PDF. The signed copy downloads to your phone and is ready to share.
Is an electronic signature valid?
This puts an image of your signature on the document. For many everyday papers, such as forms, permission slips and simple agreements, that is accepted. Some contracts and authorities require a certified digital signature or a specific service, and rules differ by country. Check what the person asking for your signature needs. This is not legal advice.
Good to know
Your signature is kept only while this page is open. It is not saved or uploaded, so you will create it again next time. When the document is signed, you can protect it with a password or compress it for email.
